[Letter] 1949 Feb. 14, 540 Park Ave., New York 21, New York [to] Geraldine Blanchet / John Erskine.

Blanchet had written Erskine with comments on his book The memory of certain persons (1947), which had contained reminiscences of Edward MacDowell. In her letter Blanchet had noted her memories of studying with MacDowell, and Erskine makes additional comments on MacDowell and his music. On the verso of the letter there is a note in Blanchet's hand explaining the circumstances of the letter.
